The safety of our members is our prime concern so following government guidelines we have made some changes to ensure we can provide the most hygienic environment to train in as possible. We have screened the reception and treadmills, provided hand sanitising stations outside and throughout the gym, machines have been spaced appropriately and only limited numbers of people are allowed in at any one time. Equipment will now be cleaned before and after use and face masks, visors and floor mats are available to purchase on the premises if you wish.
We would once again just like to thank all the people that allowed their debits to continue during the lock down. If it wasn’t for those people there would no longer be a Trackside Fitness to train in. While we are excited to open we are still under a lot of stress as we are not through the woods yet. We are still trying to recover from battle number one and our next battle of rebuilding our business has just begun. After being forced to close for 4 months we don’t have the same business we had back in March. We ask you to be understanding about changes that have been forced upon us and would really appreciate your patience. Please know we are doing our absolute best during what is a very difficult time for so many people.
Will I need to book to use the Gym?
Yes. To use the gym you must book into a time slot by either using our app or calling us on 01621 784552.
You will be able to book your slot up to 24 hours in advance.
This follows government guidelines to limit the number of people in the gym at the same time, so members can keep a safe distance from each other.
If you have trouble signing into the App please note we may have a wrong /out of date email address for you. Please call the gym and we amend your details easily.
How long Can I use the gym for?
Time slots are 1 hour and 10 mins long. Members are allowed to book 1 time slot per day to ensure everybody gets a chance to train. However when your slot expires and you want to train for longer, simply ask at reception to see if there are any free spaces in the next time slot.
Can I book a slot for a friend / Partner?
Unfortunately no. You will only be allowed to book a slot for yourself.
Can I just turn up and train?
This is not something we want to encourage but yes, you are able to just turn up and train providing there is an available space in that time slot. If you arrive half way through a time slot you will only be allowed to train until that time slot is finished.
How does it work if I want a day pass?
Day pass customers must call and pay by card over the phone to book a time slot.
What happens if I can’t attend my booked time slot?
Please cancel your space by calling or logging on to the app, as soon as you realise you can not make your time slot. Please respect that other people might want that space.
Will I be able to attend classes?
Unfortunately our studio classes will not be operating for the month of August. With so many changes taking place we would like to make sure we are running the gym as smoothly as possible and then we will once again begin to offer classes. We will still be operating our online classes, please keep an eye on Facebook and our website for upcoming times.
Are the changing facilities and lockers available?
The changing rooms are open for use but unfortunately showers cannot be used at present.
Do I have to have an appointment to join?
Please call to book an appointment if you would like to join.
Can I still have Personal Training sessions?
Yes, our personal trainers will still be operating. Please call the gym/personal trainer and they will book you in for your session. These will run as normal and you will not have to fit into an allocated timeslot.
Do I have to be a member to have personal training?
No, members and non-members are welcome.
Do I need to wear a face mask / visor when training?
It is entirely up to the individual to whether or not you wear a face mask/visor.
What are the opening hours and time slots?

Our spacious, 2 storey air-conditioned Gym is fully equipped with a large range of exercise machines.
When joining the club, a fully personalised exercise programme is designed for every member by a qualified and experienced Instructor, absolutely free! We have 6 Personal Trainers & Gym Instructors on hand, to make sure our members are supported & motivated on their way to achieving their specific fitness goals.
Weight training is important for balance, co-ordination and strength. We boast two enormous dumbbell racks reaching all the way up to 50kg, with a great selection of plate loaded machines to choose from.
STUDIOS & SPIN ROOM
Group exercise is great fun and is an excellent way to stay motivated. Check out our club's timetable which includes a variety of modern and classic favourites. Non members are welcome to attend any of the classes at a cost of £5 per class.
SHOWERS & CHANGING ROOMS
The onsite changing facilities includes lockers, changing cubicles and showers. There is no charge for the lockers and no money required to use them.
Our supplement counter stocks a variety of supplements to enhance your gym performance and speed up your recovery time. If it is advice you need there are always staff members on hand to guide you in the right direction.
DIVAS BEAUTY ROOM
Lauren Charlton is a level 4 beauty & aesthetic practitioner offering a full range of beauty treatments from Eyelash extensions and Tanning to Botox & Fillers.
This facility offers a stand up sunbed costing only 50p a minute! Creams are availiable at reception and no prior booking is necessary, Non members welcome.

From a cardio freak to a Weights freak.... football and long distance running was always my main hobbies. I was participating in football 3 times a week also going for runs about 3 times a week.
It was from the age of 16 where everything changed and weight training became my passion, Experimenting with exercises, setting challenges and goals for myself. Seeing the difference in my body
shape and the benefits, is why i really enjoy weight training, I became a lot more toned and muscle defined. It was only when I started seeing these amazing changes and what i could achieve all by myself, i knew Personal Training was the career path I wanted to explore.

I have been training since I was 15 and ever since then I have always had a passion for training and different types of training. When I first started it was mainly endurance based however the last 3 years have consisted mainly of weights training as I love seeing the muscle growth and the results over a period of time.
This is a job I’ve always wanted to do as it is incredibly rewarding and I take great satisfaction at seeing others achieve their goals. I studied (BSC) Applied Sports Science at Southampton Solent University from 2014-2017 and through the completion of this degree, I have built up a wide range of knowledge regarding nutrition, physiology and the anatomy of the body which I feel I can transfer the knowledge that I have gained to help others and help them to achieve their goals. I have a real passion for all things high octane but especially cardio & long distance running. In total I have run 3 full marathons and completed countless half marathons!
Not only does my training keep me physically fit, I strongly believe it keeps me mentally fit as well. The mind and body are closely linked. If ever I feel low, stressed or anxious it’s time for a training session and soon enough I feel like I can take on anything that is thrown my way.
One of my favourite styles of training is HIIT, which stands for high intensity interval training. This type of training is a great option if, like me, your a mum and only have a limited amount of time and need to make it count!
